Kids have a wonderful sense of what’s possible and what’s not. A lot of them ask if I have children, and I point to the nearest kid and say that it’s my son or daughter. We all laugh a little. A lot of kids also ask if I have a wife or girlfriend, and I point to the nearest kid and say that he or she is my significant other. I love when the kids say, “sensei, that’s so silly, we’re only 8!”
